Bravi Restaurant

I recently went to Bravi for dinner. This restaurant is more of a fine dining experience. The interior is classy and beautifully decorated. The menu isn’t extremely extensive; they have a handful of appetizers, handful of pastas, and a handful of main courses. We tried a selection of appetizers, which included the Beef Carpaccio, Grilled Calamari, Roasted Mushrooms and Salt Cod Pastry.  Aside from the Salt cod pastry, all of us enjoyed the appi’s.
We ordered 2 different pastas to split for the table.  One was a squid-ink noodle with roasted tomatoes and scallops, and the other was a duck risotto. There were mixed reviews on these pastas. They weren’t a complete success, and had some technical preparation issues, but I enjoyed the flavors of both.
Our mains were very lovely. I ordered the Venison with polenta and Brussels sprouts. The meat was perfectly medium rare, and very tender.

I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. The low lighting didn’t make for the best snaps!

Aside from the food, the service was friendly and attentive. Our server was making us laugh and always made sure our table was taken care of.
Overall, this restaurant is a great place to take a date, or go for a more upscale type dinner.
